Lucille F. (Roy) Benoit

Lucille F. (Roy) Benoit, of Fall River, wife of Ernest J. "Ernie" Benoit, entered into rest Tuesday, December 20, 2016. A homemaker, she was also employed by the former Bradlees Department Stores.

Besides her husband of 59 years, she leaves four children, Cecile Tessier and her husband William of Somerset, Ernest Benoit, Jr. of Webster, MA, Jacqueline Gagnon and her husband Robert of Wrentham, MA and Colleen Silva (late husband Joseph) of Tiverton; several grandchildren, Kevin Tessier and Renee Avilla and her husband Daniel, Jessica McGonagle and her husband John,
Jonathan Benoit and Connor Gagnon; great-grandchildren; a brother, Alfred W. Roy of East Bridgewater, MA and nieces and nephews. She was the daughter of the late William and Marianna (Paradis) Roy and the sister of the late Yvonne Proulx, Andre Roy and Yvette Yokel.

Her funeral will be held Saturday at 8:15 AM from the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass at St. Bernard Church, Assonet at 9:30 AM. Entombment, Notre Dame Cemetery Mausoleum.

Visitation, Friday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. Large parking area & barrier-free entrance at the rear of funeral home.
