Lucienne B. (Guimond) Dumas

Lucienne B. Dumas, 95 died peacefully in her own home in Fall River, MA on August 2, 2013 following a period of declining health. She was born in Fall River on October 17, 1917 the daughter of the late Charles Guimond and Pamela (Neveu) Guimond. She was the beloved wife of the late Herve J. Dumas of the Fall River Fire Department, who died in April of 1972. Lucienne is survived by her loving children Pauline Leduc and her husband Phillip of Tiverton, RI, Daniel Dumas and his wife Paulette of Brussels, Belgium, Diane Forcier and her husband Jean of Tiverton, RI, Muriel Sypek and her husband Ed of Wayland, MA, and Carl Dumas and his wife Susan of Beverly, MA. She was the cherished grandmother of Christel Fontaine, Michael Dumas, David Dumas, Jonathan Dumas, Ryan Sypek, Evan Sypek, Gregory Dumas, Kyle Dumas, and Elise Dumas. She is also survived by 8 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was a loving, devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and delighted in any time that she spent with her family. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at the Auclair Funeral Home. Her funeral services will be held on Friday at 9:00 am from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St. Fall River, with a funeral mass at Saint Theresa Church, Tiverton at 10:00 am. Interment will be private.
