Lucien L. Dion

Lucien L. Dion, 93, of Ridge St., Fall River, died Friday, January 22, 2010. An Army veteran of the WW II European Theater and member of the Holy Name Society of Notre Dame Parish, he worked in the textile industry and was also employed by Norbut Mfg., Harbour Mall Cinemas and Taco Bell. He was the husband of the late Yvonne (Belanger) Dion; the son of the late Arsene and Julia (Rioux) Dion; the father of Pauline Bourgeois (husband Leonard) of Swansea, Denise Dion of Fall River, Rene Dion (wife Christine) of Assonet and the late Paul Dion; the grandfather of Holly Kuznar (Jason), Eric Bourgeois (Pamela), Michelle Adams (Matthew), Michael Dion (Kathy) and Keith Dion; the great-grandfather of Coby, Lucas, Nathan and Vanessa Adams, Avery, Allison and Autumn Kuznar, Alyssa Rochon and Mckenna Bourgeois; the beloved companion of Lillian Rioux; and the brother of the late Rosina Dutil, Lucy Patenaude and Louis, Raymond and Arsene "Bob" Dion. His funeral will be held Monday at 10:00 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in Notre Dame Church at 11:00 AM. Burial, Newport Memorial Park, Middletown, RI. Visitation, Sunday 4:00 to 8:00 PM. LARGE PARKING AREA and BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home. Please omit flowers.
