Louis A. Sisca, III

Louis A. Sisca, III, 69, of Fall River, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on October 22, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Joy (Thamklang) Sisca.

He was a humble man who served in the United States Air Force and spent a significant part of his career at the Newport Naval Base. Known for his simple, yet rich life, Louis cherished the time he spent with his family, finding his greatest joy in the laughter and love of his grandchildren. In his younger years, Louis enjoyed competitive bowling. In his spare time, Louis enjoyed making puzzles, being a loyal Red Sox fan and watching game shows. He took pleasure in playing cards and was known for sharing jokes that could brighten anyone’s day.

Louis is also survived by his children, Lisa (husband Kevin) Furtado, Laura (husband Kyle) Thibault, Lindsay (husband Gilbert III) Rocha, Louis A. Sisca IV, and Jennifer Copithorne. He also leaves behind his treasured grandchildren, Jakob, Ava, and Kaiden Furtado, Kyla Thibault, Gilbert IV, Lincoln, and Gabriel Rocha, and Isabella Copithorne, each of whom held a special place in his heart. He also leaves his loving siblings, including Mary Lou Lussier, Anne Ferraz, Gabrielle Vaillancourt, Susan Sisca-Petit, Peter Sisca, and Edward Sisca as well as nieces and nephews.

Louis was predeceased by his parents, Louis A. and Mary G. (Machado) Sisca.

The Sisca family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the wonderful staff at Catholic Memorial Home for their exceptional care of our father over the past three years. Their compassion and love truly made him feel at home. We will always be grateful for their support and dedication.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 25, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Auclair Funeral Home, located at 690 South Main Street, Fall River, MA 02721. The Air Force will present military honors during the visitation at 6:00 PM

The family will receive guests Saturday morning from 8:30 AM to 9:15 AM  prior to his Funeral Mass which will be celebrated in his honor on Saturday, October 26, 2024, at 10:00 AM at Good Shepherd Church, located at 1598 South Main Street, Fall River, MA 02724. 

Burial at St. Patrick's Cemetery, Fall River.
