Louis P. Provenzano

Louis P. Provenzano, 70, of Barrington, passed away Saturday, June 16, 2018. Mr. Provenzano was a pillar in the local community and will be greatly missed by family and friends, near and far. Lou was an Owner/Operator of McDonald's restaurants for over 40 years, but his service extended far beyond the workplace. His contributions to the lives of many included his founding of the Providence Ronald McDonald House where he served as a board member, his role as board member of the Boston Ronald McDonald House, Hock a Mock YMCA, and served as McDonald's Division Leadership Council Chairman and National Leadership Council Officer representing his Owner/Operator colleagues. Lou received many honors for his service to the community, including the Golden Arch Award, Ronald Award, Mentor Award (Boston Region) and four Ray Kroc Awards.

Lou was also a devoted and loving husband who found great joy in family and travel, especially to Aruba. His legacy will live on in the hearts and minds of everyone he interacted with.

Lou was preceded in death by his parents Louis L. and Marie L. (Colletti) Provenzano, his wife Darlene C. (Olson) Provenzano, and his daughter Deidra M. Stone. Lou is survived by his wife Mary Lou (Cartier) Provenzano; his former wife Patricia (Rogers) Repass; his children Jacqueline J. Provenzano Jones (husband Philip), Anthony Carosella (wife Virginia), Loren Carosella-Provenzano (fiancée Meredith Carlson) and Jason Provenzano (girlfriend Tiffany Spelko); his grandchildren Danielle Stone and Mason Carosella; his cousin Patricia Stella and his brother in law Jeffrey Cartier (wife Lisa Gochnour).

His funeral will be held Saturday at 9:30 a.m. at the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River followed by a funeral mass at the Carmelite Monastery, Barrington, at 11:00 a.m. Burial will take place at Forest Chapel Cemetery.

Visitation Friday, 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
