Louis L. Provenzano

Louis L. Provenzano, 89, of Tiverton, formerly of Almy Rd., Somerset died Wednesday, February 26, 2014. A native of Chicago and a Navy veteran of WW II, he was the husband of 35 years of the late Marie L. (Colletti) Provenzano. He leaves a son, Louis P. Provenzano and his wife Mary Lou of Barrington; five grandchildren, Deidra Provenzano, Jacqueline Provenzano Jones and her husband Phil, Anthony Carosella, Loren Provenzano and Jason Provenzano; a great-granddaughter, Danielle Stone and nieces and nephews. He was the son of the late Joseph and Mary (Olivieri) Provenzano and the brother of the late Philip Provenzano. He loved his Italian food and one of the greatest joys in his life was holiday dinners surrounded by his family. Louis' family would like to thank Dr. Joan Harrison and the fourth floor nurses at Charlton Memorial Hospital for their compassionate care of "Mr. P" as well as those who cared for him at the Clare Bridge Unit of Sakonnet Bay Manor. His funeral will be held Saturday at 10:00 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass at St. Louis de France Church, Swansea, at 11:00 AM. Entombment, St. Joseph Cemetery, River Grove, Illinois. Visitation, Friday from 5:00 to 8:00 PM and Saturday morning prior to the funeral from 9:00 to 10:00 AM.
