Louis J. "The Mover" Gingras, 48, of 909 Sumner St., Stoughton, MA, formerly of Ridge St. Fall River, died Friday, February 23, 2007 at Caritas St. Elizabeth's Medical Center, Brighton, MA. A lifelong resident of Fall River, he was the son of the late Louis K. and Emily (Borges) Gingras. He was a bartender at the Polish National Home , a taxicab driver for City Hall Taxi, and also worked for Bristol Knitting Mills. Mr. Gingras was an avid Red Sox and Miami Dolphin Fan. He enjoyed fishing and was a member of the Dart Club at the Polish National Home. He is survived by two sisters, Kathleen A. Cabral and her finace John Sikora of Westport and Judith Avilla and her husband Robert of Fall River; 3 nieces, a nephew, and 7 great nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Kenneth Gingras. Private arrangements are with the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 S. Main St. Fall River.
