Lorraine De (Gravel) Villers

Lorraine Y. (Gravel) de Villers, 82, of Somerset, formerly of Fall River, died Thursday, August 12, 2010. A registered nurse, she was a graduate of the former Jesus Mary Academy and Union Hospital School of Nursing. Prior to her retirement, she was employed by Charlton Memorial Hospital as well as area nursing homes and health care agencies. She was a member of Union Hospital Alumni Assn., Charlton Memorial Hospital Retirees, Charlton Memorial Hospital Auxiliary and was a hospital volunteer. She was also a member of the Classy Ladies and Royal Travelers of Swansea. She leaves 3 children, Diane Versocki and her husband Richard of Bedford, TX, Denise de Villers Lopes and her husband James of Somerset and David de Villers and his wife Lynne of Los Altos, CA; 4 grandchildren, Christina and Andrew Versocki, both of TX, Nicholas de Villers of CA and Andrea Lopes of Somerset and a beloved cousin Robert Pouliot of Fall River. She was the daughter of the late Raoul and Lydia (Ross) Gravel; the former wife of the late Andre R. de Villers and the sister of the late Paul Gravel. Visitation, Saturday from 2:00 to 4:00 PM in the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River. LARGE PARKING AREA and BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home. Please omit flowers.
