Lorraine (Poirier) Powers

Lorraine (Poirier) Powers, 94, of Assonet, wife of the late John Powers, entered into rest Friday, December 2, 2016.

She leaves two sisters, Lillian E. Pickard of Somerset and Theresa Israel of Florida; She was the daughter of the late Henry and Amanda (St.Martin de Rodier) Poirier and the sister of the late Edmond Poirer, Blanche Fitzgibbons and Leon Poirier.

She was a Dear Aunt who has left behind many nieces and nephews and friends who loved her dearly. She will be missed and lovingly remembered by us all, she touched our hearts and our lives.

Her funeral will be held Tuesday at 8:45 a.m. from the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass at St. Bernard Church, Assonet at 10:00 a.m.

Visitation, Monday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Large parking area & barrier-free entrance at the rear of funeral home.
