Lorraine D. (Lachance) Lepage, 80, formerly of Swansea and Hancock Estates, Tiverton, widow of Bertrand J. Lepage, died Thursday, February 23, 2012 at Catholic Memorial Home, Fall River. A graduate of Holy Union Novitiate High School and Sacred Hearts College, she was a Roman Catholic Nun for 25 years. As a Sister of the Holy Union she taught in Elizabeth City, NC, Baltimore, MD, Swedesboro, NJ, Astoria and Patchogue, LI, NY, and in Fall River at Sacred Hearts School and Sacred Hearts Academy. More recently she was employed by Rand McNally, Taunton, Swansea School Department, and the Massachusetts Department of Social Services. She leaves stepchildren, Anita Ducharme of West Stafford, CT, Roger Lepage of Swansea, and Raymond Lepage of Fall River; a brother, Robert Lachance of Swansea and nieces and nephews. She was the daughter of the late Adelard and Marie Louise (Robert) Lachance; and the sister of the late Laura and Sedonia Pelletier, Marie Gosselin, Dora Dupere, Evelyn Thibodeau, and Emile, Wilfrid, Honore, Leo, Adelard, Louis, Benoit and Edward Lachance. Her funeral service will be held Monday at 10:00 AM in Christ Temple United Pentecostal Church, 1198 Fish Rd., Tiverton, RI 02878. Burial, Newport Memorial Park, Middletown. Visitation in the Church Sunday from 4:00 to 6:00 PM. Donations to Christ Temple appreciated.
