Lorraine Mary Gillette

Lorraine Mary (Sicard) Gillette, 77, wife of 59 years to Roy Gillette, of Fall River, daughter of the late Ludger and Clara (Letendre) Sicard, passed away peacefully at home in the presence of her family on Sunday, April 6, 2008. She was the mother of Roy Gillette Jr. of New Bedford, Carol Proulx, Patricia Gillette-Estrella and Carlton and Clifford Gillette, all of Fall River, Shirley Korzeniowski of Taunton and Cathy Forkey of Berkley; sister of Doris St. Pierre of Berkley, Richard Sicard of Westport and the late Robert Sicard and Pauline Dufresne; She also leaves 16 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Following cremation, a funeral mass will be held Friday at 9 AM in SS Peter and Paul Parish at Holy Cross Church, Snell St. Fall River. Family will greet friends starting at 8:30 AM. Burial, Notre Dame Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care, 502 Bedford St. Fall River, MA 02720.
