Lorraine (Duperre) Duquette

Lorraine M. (Duperre) Duquette, 92, of Somerset, died at home, Sunday, November 26, 2006. She was the wife of the late Louis J. Duquette. Born in Lewiston, Maine, the daughter of the late Harve and Jane (Lovell) Duperre, she lived in Fall River many years ago and in Somerset for the past 59 years. She was employed by Standard Coil and American Thread, Fall River and the Raytheon Co., Dighton. A member of AARP, she was a former member of So. Somerset Improvement Association, Friday Club of Somerset, Somerset Drop In Club, Somerset Senior Chorus and the Royal Travelers. Survivors include 3 daughters, Lois "Bunny" Chodkowski and her husband Joseph of Somerset, Anita Rousseau Griffin and her husband Roger Griffin of Florida and Lucille "Cookie" Monteiro of Virginia; 2 sons, Richard Duquette of Fall River and Robert Duquette of Somerset; a brother, Albert A. Duperre of Somerset; a sister, Sharon Santos of Westport; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Howard, Robert and Herbert Duperre. Her funeral will be held Wednesday at 9:00 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in St. Louis de France Church, Swansea at 10:00 AM. Entombment, Notre Dame Cemetery mausoleum. Visitation, Tuesday 5:00 to 8:00 PM.
