Lorraine (Charest) Doucette

Lorraine (Charest) Doucette, 92, of Fall River, wife of the late George Doucette, passed away Tuesday, August 3, 2021.

She was a member of the Fall River School Lunch Program for 30 years and a former sewing machine operator. She was a talented crafter and enjoyed sewing, quilting, knitting and playing Bocce Ball, but of all, spending time with her family was her priority.

She leaves 4 children, Celeste Pelletier (husband the late Roger) and Michele Snizek (husband Steven) all of Tiverton, Mary Beth Dame and (husband Joseph) of New Hampshire and John Doucette of Fall River; grandchildren, Daniel Snizek (wife Alyssa), Jillian Kilroy (husband Craig), Thomas and Elijah Dame, Andrew and Nicholas Doucette; great-grandchildren, Zachary, Liliana and Amalia Snizek and Bonnie and Harper Kilroy; a sister, Doris Morin of Tiverton, RI and many nieces and nephews.

She was the sister of the late Yvette Belisle, Rev. Roger M. Charest S.M.M., Romeo Charest, Henry Charest, Reina Morin and Robert Charest and the daughter of the late Alphonse and Blanche (Gregoire) Charest.

A visitation will be held Saturday from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM in the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So.Main St. Fall River. Her Funeral Mass will follow at St. Stanislaus Church, Rockland St., at 11:00 AM. Burial will be private.
