Lorraine (St.Jean) Chagnon

Lorraine (St.Jean) Chagnon, 87, of Swansea, a former employee of Country Gardens Nursing Home, wife of the late Raymond Chagnon, passed away Wednesday, September 6, 2017.

She leaves three children, Paul Chagnon and his wife Judith and Nancy Beauregard and her husband George, all of Swansea, Scott Chagnon and his wife Catherine of Rehoboth; four grandchildren, Joseph Chagnon, Mark Chagnon, Hope Barney and her husband Brian and Dawn Davis and her husband Scott and a great-grandson, Xander Barney. She was the daughter of the late Aram St.Jean and Aurore (Neveu) St.Jean-Gagne.

Her funeral will be held Saturday at 8:00 AM from the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass at St. Francis of Assisi Church, Swansea at 9:00 AM. Interment, Notre Dame Cemetery.

Visitation, Friday from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. Large parking area & barrier-free entrance at the rear of funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Swansea Senior Center, 260 Ocean Grove Ave., Swansea MA 02777.
