Loretta R. (Blais) Miller

Loretta R. (Blais) Miller, 102, of Fall River, wife of the late Edward J. Miller, passed away Friday, February 3, 2017.

She attended St. Anne's School and was a member of St. Anne's Parish where she sang in the choir. She was a strong presence in the lives of her children and grandchildren. She will be remembered for the mischievous twinkle in her eye, her spontaneous French singing, her fingers dancing across the piano keys and her sense of humor. She was well loved, warm-hearted, generous and unforgettable. She was affectionately known as Grammy.

Survivors include 3 children, Jeanine Deveau of Westport, Stephen Miller of Fall River and Sharon DeMedeiros of Dartmouth; 10 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Joseph, Charles and Robert Blais and Georgette Heywood and the daughter of the late Omer and Eva (Michaud) Blais.

Her funeral will be held Tuesday at 9:15 AM from the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River with a funeral mass at St. Anne Church, at 10:00 AM Interment, Notre Dame Cemetery.

Visitation Monday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM and Tuesday morning from 8:15 to 9:15 AM.
