Loretta (Hannigan) Medeiros

Loretta (Hannigan) Medeiros, 85, formerly of Fall River, passed into eternal life Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at Clifton Rehabilitative Nursing home in Somerset, where she was a resident for the past two years.

A 27 year employee of Anderson Little, she also worked for Brooks Pharmacy and for the former Swansea Mall Walmart for 11 years, as a greeter.

Loretta was known as a feisty lady who had a heart of gold.  She loved to joke around, play Bingo and  drink Dunkin Donuts coffee.  Her other likes included scratch tickets and trips to the casino.

Loretta is survived by son Douglas Medeiros and daughter-in-law Gia Medeiros and son Michael Medeiros and daughter-in-law Dorothy Daponte;

beloved granddaughter, Samantha Medeiros;

She was the sister of the late John Hannigan and the daughter of the late John A. and Ella (Malone) Hannigan.

A visitation will be held Sunday, November 20, from 10:00 A.M. to 12:30 P.M. with a funeral service at 12:30 P.M. at the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 South Main St. Fall River.  Cremation to follow.
