Loretta (Chouinard) Berthiaume

Loretta C. (Chouinard) Berthiaume, 99, of Somerset, widow of Henry "Bucky" Berthiaume, died Wednesday, May 21, 2014. She was employed by the former Apex, Swansea and Pomfret Florists and Centre Drug, Somerset and was a dedicated family caregiver. A Lifetime member of St. Louis de France Parish, she was a Marian Medal recipient and member of the Ladies of St. Anne Sodality of the parish. She was a member of the Somerset Senior Chorus and a St. Anne's Hospital, Dominican Sisters Novitiate and Somerset Library volunteer. She leaves 4 children, Daniel H. Berthiaume and his wife Claudette, Nancy L. Louro and her husband Frederick and Beth S. Silvia and her spouse Modesta Levesque, all of Somerset and Henry P. Berthiaume and his wife Jeanne of Sanford, ME; 20 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandson and nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Russell P. Berthiaume; the daughter of the late Joseph and Fabiola (Noiseux) Chouinard and the sister of the late Rhea Pomfret, Doris Bazinet and Roland Chouinard. Her funeral will be held Saturday at 9:00 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass at St. Louis de France Church, Swansea, at 10:30 AM. Burial, St. Patrick Cemetery, Somerset. Visitation, Friday 4:00 to 8:00 PM. LARGE PARKING AREA and BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home.
