Lomer H. "Lo" Lapointe

Lomer H. "Lo" Lapointe, 97, of Fall River, husband of the late Beatrice (Nataly) Lapointe, 96, died Thursday, September 15, 2016.

Born in Casselman, Ontario, Canada, the son of the late Omer and Aurore (Brisson) LaPointe, he was employed by Abdon Textiles and Quaker Fabrics. A Marine Corps veteran of WW II, he was a member of the Knights of Columbus.

He leaves two sons, Thomas J. Lapointe (girlfriend Dawn) of Fall River and James Lapointe (wife Deborah) of Maryland Heights, MO; siblings, Paul LaPointe, Alice and Cecile Levesque and many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Marie Dumont and Sleurange, Victor, Emile, Rene, Lionel, Gerard and Joseph Donat "Don" LaPointe.

His funeral will be held Saturday, September 24, at 8:00 a.m. from the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass at St. Bernadette Church, 529 Eastern Ave. at 9:00 a.m. Interment, St. Patrick Cemetery.

Visitation Friday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Large parking area and barrier-free entrance at the rear of funeral home.
