Linda (Pereira) Venier

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Linda Venier on
Monday, August 7, 2023, at her home in Tiverton, at the age of 68. Linda was a devoted
wife for 31 years to Nicholas O. Venier and a beloved daughter of Edmond James
Pereira and Lillian (Lapointe) Pereira, born in her cherished hometown of Fall River.
Linda's journey began at the Boys & Girls Club of Fall River, where she became
affectionately known as "Ms. Linda" at Camp Welch. Her compassion and dedication
were undeniable, eventually leading her to become a Certified Dental Practitioner in
1990. Her professional achievements culminated in her role as President of the
Southeastern District Dental Society.
Beyond her impressive career, Linda radiated love as a devoted mother, dear friend,
and passionate soul. She shared her heart and home with her cherished pets Fred,
Yodel, Keeper, and Jack. Her vibrant spirit was also evident on the dance floor, where
she found joy, and in her artful landscaping and gardening endeavors. Linda's
adventurous spirit led her to explore the world, with a special affection for the beauty of
San Francisco, where she delighted in the company of her son and her other “boys” as
she’d say while taking in the scenic surroundings.
Linda is survived by her loving husband, Nicholas O. Venier, and her children: Roger
Gaudreau of Fall River, Gregory Blangero-Venier of San Diego, and step-daughter,
Nicole Venier of Fall River, her son-in-law, Jason Blangero-Venier of San Diego, and
granddaughter Jasmine Paiva of Tiverton. She was predeceased by her step-son, Erik
Gravel, in memoriam.
Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours to pay their respects on Thursday,
August 10, 2023, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Auclair Funeral Home, located at 690 S.
Main St., Fall River. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, August 11, 2023, at 9:00
AM at the funeral home, followed by a Funeral Mass at Holy Trinity Church, Stafford
Road, Fall River. Linda's final resting place will be Pocasset Hill Cemetery.
