Lillian B. (Berube) Nadeau

April 27, 1916 — August 24, 2009

Lillian B. (Berube) Nadeau, 93, of Murray St., Fall River, widow of Albert W. Nadeau, died Monday, August 24, 2009. Mrs. Nadeau loved tailoring and writing poetry. She taught school at St. Vincent's Orphanage as a young girl and was a member of the Ladies of St. Anne Sodality of the former St. Mathieu Parish. She leaves 2 children, Cecile Roy (Alfred) of Bridgewater, MA and Ronald C. Nadeau (Ann Muller) of Somerset; 8 grandchildren, Rochelle Kliss, William and John Roy, Marc and Nicole Rochefort, Jean Paul and Charles Nadeau and Suzanne Medeiros; 13 great-grandchildren; siblings, Lila Nadeau and Cecile Boulanger, both of Somerset and Rene Berube of Fall River. She was the mother of the late Claudette Rochefort (Leo); the daughter of the late Arthur and Irma (Dufour) Berube and the sister of the late Roland Berube. Her funeral will be held Thursday at 10:30 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in St. Louis de France Church, Swansea, at 11:30 AM. Entombment, Notre Dame Cemetery Mausoleum. Visitation, Wednesday 5:00 to 8:00 PM. LARGE PARKING AREA and BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home.
