Leonard H. Wrenn, Jr.

July 13, 1937 — August 3, 2009

Leonard H. "Len" Wrenn Jr., 72, of Pebble St. and formerly of Rodman St. Fall River, husband of Annette (Berube) Wrenn and son of the late Leonard and Isabella Wrenn, passed away peacefully at home Monday August 3, 2009. A veteran of the Vietnam war, he served 15 years of active duty in the United States Air Force and 23 years in the Rhode Island Air National Guard. Leonard graduated in 1992 from Fisher College with his Associate's degree in business. He was also employed by Fisher College, Quaker Fabrics and Newport Hospital. He was a member of The Benevolent and Protective Order of the Elks and bartended there as well. He was also a member of the Golden Oldies Senior Club and a member of the AMVETS. Over the years he and his wife were also caregivers to more than 60 foster children. Beside his wife of 47 years he leaves 7 children: Leonard Wrenn Coleman and his wife Deanna of Colorado, Richard Wrenn Coleman of Georgia, Lynnette (Wrenn) Cabral of Fall River, Lori (Wrenn) O'Driscoll and her husband Sean of Sharon, MA, Christine and Steven Leonard Wrenn of Fall River, Ashley Ann Wrenn of Somerset, 10 grandchildren: Justin and Jenna Coleman, Zach and Hilary Cabral, Kasie, Kate, Karlie and Conlen O'Driscoll, Mason Wrenn and Kylie Arruda; one great-grandson Noah Cabral. He also leaves siblings Robert Wrenn and his wife Joan and Judy (Wrenn) Smith and her husband Richard all of Florida. He was the brother-in-law of Jeanne and Maurice Berube of Wisconsin and the late Evelyn Leger of Fall River. He leaves many nieces and nephews as well. His funeral will be held Friday at 9:00 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in Holy Trinity Church at 10:00 AM. Burial, Notre Dame Cemetery. Visitation, Thursday 4:00 to 8:00 PM. LARGE PARKING AREA and BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home.
