Leonard Bonas

Leonard Bonas, 83, of Tiverton, husband of Barbara (Fontaine) Bonas, entered into rest Tuesday, December 1, 2015. He was born in Newport, the youngest member of the first set of triplets in Newport's history. He was an avid golfer and Bruins and Patriots fan. Besides his wife of 36 years, he leaves children, Chris Bonas (Christine) of North Smithfield, RI, Annette Silvia (Lisa Aschen Brenner) of Marlborough, MA, Kathy Jones (Kenneth) of Romeo, MI and Kelly McCormack (Stephen) of Somerset; ten grandchildren; siblings, Evelyn Moniz and James, Louis and Laurence Bonas; nieces, nephews and his faithful companion "Rudy". He was the father of the late Michael Bonas; the son of the late Enos and Mary Bonas and the brother of the late George and Enos Bonas. His funeral will be held Saturday at 9:00 a.m. at the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass at St. Madeleine Sophie Church, Lake Ave., Tiverton, at 11:00 a.m. Cremation to follow. Visitation, Friday from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. Large parking area & barrier-free entrance at the rear of funeral home.
