Leo J. Marcoux

Leo J. Marcoux, 89. of Fall River, husband of Theresa “Terry” (Mercier) Marcoux, passed away on Sunday, June 27, 2021.

He was employed by Midland Print, Hemingway Trucking, Sylvania and Bristol Community College.

Leo was an Army veteran of the Korean War in the Paratrooper Division where he had more than 34 jumps. He was a member of Dover Club, Fall River Lodge of Elks and played for Durfee in the state baseball championship at Fenway in 1949.

Besides his wife of 69 years, he leaves children, Thomas L. Marcoux of Fall River,

Patricia A. LeClerc (husband Richard) of East Sandwich, MA,

Vivian Brizido (husband Joseph) of Swansea,

James N. Marcoux and Gina DeMello of Tiverton and

Michelle Y. Barresi (husband Jay) of Fall River and was the father of the late Mark H. Marcoux, FRFD;

He also leaves grandchildren,  Beth, Derek, Kim, Cindy, Nicholas, Brittany, Theodore and Mark; 13 great-grandchildren and many  nieces and nephews.

He was the grandfather of the late Melissa Marcoux; brother of the late Eleanor Landry and the son of the late Leo J. and Julianna (Marchand) Marcoux.

His Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, July 6th at 11:00 a.m. at  St. Anthony of the Desert Church, Fall River. MEET DIRECTLY AT CHURCH.
