Leo J. Duquette

Leo J. Duquette, 95, of Somerset, formerly of Fall River, husband of the late Lucienne (Cote) Duquette, passed away Sunday, April 2, 2017.

An Army veteran of WW II, he was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Somerset. He was a self employed carpenter and also employed by Arkwright Finishing Co.

He leaves two children, Robert Duquette of Somerset and Nancy Ann Machado and her husband Frederick of Uxbridge; grandchildren Brenda Whitner and her husband Thomas, Michael Ouellette and his fiancée Jennifer Digirolamo; great-grandchildren Meghan Hughes and her significant other Chris Walker, Christopher Ouellette and his wife Nicole and Elizabeth, Katelynn and Justin Ouellette and nieces and nephews. He was the grandfather of the late Brian Ouellette; the son of the late Albert and Lea (Autote) Duquette and the brother of the late Walter, Gilbert and Ernest Duquette and Alice Azevedo.

Visitation at the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, Wednesday afternoon, April 5, from 2:00 to 4:00 PM with a funeral service and military honors at 3:00 PM. Large parking area & barrier-free entrance at the rear of funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Veteran's Outreach, 755 Pine St., Fall River MA 02720.
