Leo J. Dufault, 89, of Fall River, formerly of Swansea, husband of Theresa (Landry) Dufault, entered into rest Friday, June 3, 2016. He was an Army veteran of WW II and was employed by Sarama Lighting for 39 years, retiring in 1983. Besides his wife of 69 years, he leaves a daughter, Elaine Vaillancourt and her husband Paul of Westport; a granddaughter, Kimberly Hebert and her husband Paul of Berkley, MA; a great-grandson, Cameron Hebert; siblings, Germaine Dube of Fall River and Gerard Dufault of Somerset and many nieces and nephews. He was the son of the late Joseph and Marie Anne (Pelletier) Dufault and the brother of the late Cecile Ledoux, Annette Dube and Joseph, Oscar, Philippe, Arthur and Albert Dufault. His funeral will be held Monday at 8:30 a.m. from the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass at St. Bernard Church, Assonet, at 10:00 a.m. Interment, Notre Dame Cemetery. Visitation, Sunday from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. Large parking area & barrier-free entrance at the rear of funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Southcoast Inpatient Palliative Care, 363 Highland Ave., Fall River MA 02720.
