Lawrence J. "Larry" Smith, Sr.

Lawrence J. "Larry" Smith, Sr., 50, of Fall River, formerly of Providence, Norton, Attleboro and New Bedford, a self employed automobile mechanic, husband of Donna (Collet) Smith and son of Cecile Smith of Taunton and the late Lawrence D. Smith, died Saturday, March 16, 2013. Besides his wife and mother he leaves five children, April Nicholson of Stoughton, Lawrence Smith, Jr., Shane Smith, Krista Smith and Bree Smith, all of the Berkshires; stepchildren, Alissa Rodrigues, Robert Collet and Joshua Soares, all of Fall River; grandchildren, Joshua, Zack, Kayla, Ciara, and Yazenyah; and brothers, John D. Smith and his wife Anna of Lakeville and Billy G. Smith and his wife Pauline of Taunton and his father-in-law Donald Collet of New Bedford. His funeral was private.
