Lawrence Rezendes

Lawrence Rezendes, 89, currently of Swansea, husband of Bertha (Ramos) Rezendes, died Friday, August 7, 2015. A native of Fall River, he was a housing inspector with the City of Fall River, and also served as Registrar of Voters. After his retirement he lived in Port Orange, Florida. He loved to travel and spend time with his family. He was a Navy veteran of WWII. Besides his wife of 68 years, he leaves a daughter, Sandra J. Cunha of Rehoboth; a son, Lawrence Rezendes Jr. and his wife Kathleen of Fall River; 6 grandchildren, Scott Cunha, Jay Cunha, Tracy Rego (husband Brian), Kristine Lizotte (husband Russell), Michelle Campos (husband Michael) and Lynn Anne Pineau (husband David); 4 great-grandchildren and a brother, Arthur Rezendes. He was the son of the late Francisco and Flora (Santos) Rezendes and the brother of the late Francisco Rezendes Jr. and Edward Rezendes.
