Laurinda (Oliveira) Almeida, 71, of Fourth St., Fall River, widow of Domingos Almeida, died Sunday, October 14, 2012. Born in Arrifes, Sé�o Miguel, Açores, she lived in Fall River for the past 43 years. A retired seamstress, and member of Jehovah's Witnesses, she enjoyed listening to music, cooking, sewing and most of all spending time with family and friends. She leaves children, Lucia Luz Warley (husband Jeff) of Florida, Anna Viveiros (husband Antonio), Maria Fatima Almeida, M. Connie Azevedo (husband Manuel), Manuel Almeida, and Domingos Almeida, Jr., all of Fall River; grandchildren, Kelly Duarte (husband George), Isaac Luz, Debbie McGeorge, Marissa Richard, Jonathan Viveiros (fiancée Caroline Botelho), Alexa Almeida and Nicholas Almeida; great-grandchildren, Logan and Luke Duarte; siblings, Joé�o Oliveira and Maria Jose Cordeiro of the Açores; and several nieces and nephews. She was the daughter of the late Antonio and Maria Carmen (Ventura) Oliveira; and the sister of the late Encarnaçé�o, Manuel and Liduina. A memorial talk will be held Saturday, October 20, at 2:00 PM in Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 100 No. Eastern Ave., Fall River.
