Laura (Freitas) Pimenta

Laura (Freitas) Pimenta, 95, of Taunton, formerly of Fall River, wife of the late Carlos G. "Charles" Pimenta, and mother of the late Linda J. Morris, passed away Thursday, July 26, 2018 in Taunton.

She worked in Fall River's garment industry for over 40 years.

She is survived by her son-in-law David Morris; two grandchildren, Ashley Hansen and her husband Hans and Aaron Morris and his wife Stephanie, and four great-grandchildren, all of Alaska; her nephew and godchild Wayne Furtado and his wife Elizabeth of Taunton and niece, Deborah Trombly and her husband Phillip of Freetown and many great-nephews and nieces. She was the sister of the late Beatrice Dupre, Mary Furtado, and Manuel, Delores, James and John Freitas; and the daughter of the late Manuel and Isabel (Caires) Freitas.

Her funeral will be held Wednesday at 10:00 AM from the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River with a funeral mass at St. Theresa Church Tiverton at 11:00 AM. Interment, St. Patrick Cemetery.
