Kimberly Branco

April 29, 1975 — July 21, 2024

Swansea, formerly of Lakeville

Kimberly Branco of Swansea, MA. passed away peacefully with her family by her side on July 21, 2024, after a brief battle with Glioblastoma cancer.

Kimberly was born on April 29, 1975 in Fall River, MA. She is survived by her parents Kenny and Jackie Branco; her two children, Madison and Kenedie; and many Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. She was preceded by her brother Jeff.

Kim was a child full of curiosity, intelligence and mischief. She embraced a Love of Life and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She loved going over to Mim and Pips house when the whole family was there. Holidays were her favorite. She embraced the noise and chaos, the loving, the fighting and the laughter. It was always better with Kim present! She was a Registered Nurse and proudly served the needs of those in her care. She loved nursing so much that when her Uncle cut his leg open she stitched it up. When Kim’s Dad had surgery on his hand Kim was there daily to clean and bandage and do any PT that was needed. No one cared more about their patients. Even the doctors respected her knowledge and work ethic. Kim was never reluctant to tell a doctor if she thought they missed
something!

How can a nurse hate getting needles and any medical procedure? Well that was Kim. She had good vocal cords for screaming whenever she had to get a shot!Kim loved going on vacation, concerts with her girls. She made sure her girls saw their first concert with her. The kids went on hikes, on vacations and lots of recreational venues like zoos and amusement parks with their Mom. Halloween was one of her favorite holidays. The kids got made into scary characters and she enjoyed every minute of trick or treating with them.
Kim was very teimoso ( In case you don’t know, that’s stubborn in Portuguese). She loved politics and could out debate any person on the opposite side without mercy. She loved the summer and hated the cold and the winter. The hotter the better. Her goal of retiring to a warm climate did not have a chance to be fulfilled, but we know that her spot in heaven is warm and cozy. Mischievous but loving. We will always carry her memory in our hearts.

A private Memorial Service was held by Auclair Funeral Home.
