Kevin F. Fay, 52, of Baker St., Assonet, died at home Sunday, August 28, 2005 following a courageous battle with colon cancer. He was the husband of Cynthia (Graham) Fay. Born in Fall River, the son of Imelda (Mercier) Fay of Fall River and the late Vincent J. Fay, he lived in Fall River most of his life and in Assonet for the past 8 years. A graduate of Msgr. Prevost/Bishop Connolly High School class of 1971, he had an associate degree from Fisher Jr. College. A Vietnam War veteran, he served in the Navy from 1972 to 1975. He was employed by Vision Appraisal Technology, Northboro, MA. An avid N. E. Patriots and Boston Red Sox fan, he had a deep appreciation and respect for nature and enjoyed American History, especially the Civil War and WW II periods. Besides his wife and mother he leaves a sister, Melanie Ann Wells of Spring, Texas and nieces and nephews. His funeral will be held Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in St. Mary Cathedral at 11:00. Burial, Notre Dame Cemetery. Visitation, Wednesday morning prior to the funeral from 9:30 to 10:30 A.M. LARGE PARKING AREA and barrier-free entrance to the rear of funeral home. Donations may be made to Hospice Outreach, 502 Bedford St., Fall River MA 02720 or American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham MA 01701.
