Kenneth J. Smith, Sr.

Kenneth J. Smith, Sr., 72, of Westport, founder of Smith Security Systems, husband of Denise (Leclair) Smith and the late Patricia A. (O'Brien) Smith, died peacefully at home with his loving family by his side, Thursday, January 16, 2014. Besides his wife of 25 years he leaves, 3 children, Robin Morin and her husband Dennis, Kim Bernier and her fiancé David Berube and Kenneth J. Smith, Jr.; grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; a sister, Barbara Pobzeznik and her husband Thomas and nieces and nephews. He was the son of the late Ernest Smith and Imelda (Hamel) Smith Jackson and the brother of the late Elsie Mello. His funeral service will be held Monday at 10:00 AM at the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River. Burial, Beech Grove Cemetery, Westport. Visitation, Sunday 3:00 to 7:00 PM.
