Kathleen "Kay" (Sheeran) Martel, 89, formerly of Wall St., Fall River, died Sunday, October 16, 2011. She was the widow of Charles R. Martel. A hairdresser, she was employed by Candy's Beauty Salon. She was a former member of Oak Village Seniors and Durfee Mixed Bowling League. Survivors include 6 children, Rene R. Martel and his wife Patricia of Swansea, Edward Martel and his wife Cheryl of Fall River, William Martel and his wife Maryann of Fall River, Anne Clayton and her husband David of Cumberland, RI., Janet Vieira and her husband David of No.Dartmouth and Russell T. Martel of Fall River; 13 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Farrell) Sheeran and the sister of the late Mary Gagnon and Margaret Barnes. Funeral Thursday at 8 A.M. from AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St. Fall River with a funeral mass in St. Anne Church, at 9 A.M. Burial, Mass. National Cemetery. Visitation Wednesday from 4 P.M to 8 P.M.
