Kathleen T. (Nunes) Lizotte

Kathleen T. (Nunes) Lizotte, 73, of Swansea, passed away peacefully at her home Monday, July 8, 2024.

She was the wife of Roger F. Lizotte. They shared 43 years of marriage.

Kathy dedicated her time for the past 20 years at Greenlock Therapeutic Riding Center in Rehoboth, helping with therapy of individuals with physical, developmental, and emotional differences.

Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Edward F. Nunes Sr. and Evelyn (Cairone) Nunes.

Besides her husband, she leaves six siblings, Christine (Jere) Danaher, Geraldine (Bill) Hughes, Edward F. (Meredith) Nunes Jr., Theresa (Arthur) Lusignan, George (Joanne) Nunes and Joan Nunes; brothers in law Paul (Cynthia Knowles) Lizotte and Richard (Irene) Lizotte.

She is also survived by many nieces and nephews

A visitation will be held Sunday, August 4, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM with a funeral service at 3:00 PM in the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 South Main St. Fall River.
