Kathleen L. Coulombe

Kathleen L. (Orton) Coulombe, 71, of Fall River, wife of Hector I. Coulombe, died January 20, 2012. She was the daughter of Dwight Orton Sr. and was raised by her grandparents, the late Dwight E. and Mabel (Reed) Orton. Her hobbies included playing cards, dominoes and gardening. She was a member of the Somerset Bocci League, The Classy Ladies and was the Captain of the IBC Crusaders, (a breast cancer walk team.) Kathy & Hector enjoyed wintering in Naples, FL with their many friends. Besides her husband of 51 years she leaves 5 children, Donna Foley (husband Daniel) of Taunton, MA, Cheryl Souza (husband Robert) of Fall River, Stephen Coulombe (wife Nancy) of Fall River, Karen Simas (husband Henry) of Westport, MA and Becki Coulombe (husband Stephen Potter) of Fall River. She also leaves 3 siblings, Donald Orton of Fort Mills, SC, Richard Orton of Westport, MA, Glenn Orton of Arcadia, CA and also the late Dwight E. Orton, III. Also, 8 grandchildren, Jacob & Brian Santos, Peter Coulombe, Nicholas Lewis, Mitchell Coulombe, Taylor Potter & Kyle & Adam Souza, 3 great-grandchildren, Lily, Madilynn, & Aiden and many nieces & nephews. Following cremation, a visitation will be held from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday January 27th at Auclair Funeral Home, 690 S. Main St. Fall River, MA. There will also be a memorial reception on Saturday, January 28th, 11:00 am at McGovern's Restaurant.
