Karen Denise Lee

Karen Denise Lee, 60, of Fall River MA, passed away in her sleep on May 25, 2022 due to respiratory and heart complications.
Karen was born in Newport, RI on December 30, 1961 to Martha Gelmete. She grew up in Fall River, MA raised by both Martha and Ronald Gelmete. Karen is survived by her only son, Trottjoseph Lee.

Additionally, Karen is survived by her sister, Rhonda Williams Gelmete.
Karen’s work centered around taking care of others. She cared for adults at Corrigan Mental Health in the 80’s, and was most proud of her time working with teens at Whitney Academy in the 90’s and 2000’s. A severe car accident in 2009 disabled her from continuing to work.
Even as her health declined, she continued to care for her father after the passing of her mother.
Karen was passionate about life, extremely loyal and would literally do anything for her friends and family. She also loved good food, the Red Sox, football, the Patriots, and most importantly, Tom Brady.
Everyone she ever met will remember her infectious laugh, and beautiful smile.
She will be greatly missed.

A visitation will be held Friday, June 3, 2022 at the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 South Main St. Fall River, MA.  from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM.  Funeral service in the funeral home at 6:00 PM.
