Juliette L. "Julie" (Messier) Faris

Juliette L. "Julie" (Messier) Faris, 82, of Fall River, wife of Thomas J. Faris, Sr., died Wednesday, December 31, 2014. She was employed by Anderson Little Manufacturing and the Fall River School Department. A former member of the Board of Directors of the Flint Village West Neighborhood Association, she enjoyed trips to the Twin River Casino. Besides her husband of 56 years, she leaves three children, Carol Lacey and her husband Paul of Tiverton, David T. Faris and his fiancée Judith A. Catalan of Fall River and Thomas J. Faris, Jr., FRPD; grandchildren, Stephanie Beaudry and her husband Matthew, Thomas J. Faris, III, and Courtney Faris; two great-grandchildren, Matthew Beaudry, Jr. and Ellyana Beaudry; sisters, Yvette Tardif and Claire Allard, both of Fall River and nieces and nephews. She was the daughter of the late Elie and Leontine (Gendreau) Messier and the sister of the late Andre, Theresa, Cecile, Colette, Paul and Donald Messier. Her funeral mass will be held Monday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Anthony of the Desert Church. Burial, Notre Dame Cemetery. Visitation, at St. Anthony of the Desert Church, Monday morning prior to the funeral mass from 8:00 to 10:00 a.m.. Please omit flowers.
