Julien F. Paul

Julien F. Paul, 90 years young, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 20th at Charlton Memorial Hospital with his son and daughter at his side.
Julien was born in Fall River, MA, the son of the late Yvonne & Joseph Felix Paul. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Eileen P. (Burns) Paul, his sister, Margaret M. Paul of Maryland, his daughter Mary Kinnane, (husband John) of Fall River, son Thomas Paul of Fall River, and a sister-in-law Susan Paul of Rhode Island. He was the brother of the late Roger F. Paul. He also leaves 9 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, a niece, a nephew and a great-nephew.
He was a graduate of the Msgr. Prevost High School,
Bradford Durfee College of Technology, and served in the Merchant Marine during World War II. He served as the President of Roma Chemical, the United Merchants & Manufacturers raw material division. He was involved in numerous local civic organizations and initiatives. It was his strong belief that everyone has a responsibility to make a contribution to society, no matter how big or how small. Never wanting to be the center of attention, he quietly and humbly pursued what he felt passionate about and never stopped being interested in making the world a better place.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral mass on Monday at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Name Church. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Julien F. Paul Memorial Scholarship Fund, P.O. Box 9026, Fall River, MA 02720 or the Lewy Body Dementia Association.
