Julien A. "Frenchy" Lafontaine

Julien A. "Frenchy" Lafontaine, 82, of Chicago St., Fall River, husband of Dolores (Furtado) Lafontaine, died Tuesday, March 18, 2008. He was employed by Tioga Sportswear and Franconia Sportswear. Besides his wife of 50 years, he leaves a daughter, Donna Cook and her husband Jesse of Swansea; grandchildren, Nicole and Jesse Cook; sisters, Yvonne Lafontaine and Theresa Cahill of Fall River and nieces and nephews. He was the son of the late Joseph and Laura (Bourque) Lafontaine and the brother of the late Emile, Francis and Gabriel Lafontaine. His funeral will be held Thursday at 9:00 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River with a service in Notre Dame Church at 10:00 AM. Burial, Notre Dame Cemetery. Visitation, Wednesday 4:00 to 7:00 PM. LARGE PARKING AREA AND BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home.
