Judith Ann Oliveira

Judith Ann Oliveira died on December 4, 2015 in her home in Mattapoisett. Since 2005, Judi and her life-partner lived in Hawaii. Judi was a caring and generous spirit who brought humor, joy and inspiration to everyone in her life. Born and raised in Fall River, Judi was lovingly raised by her Godmother, the late Alice Cabral; her Grandmother, the late Rosa Mendes; and her father the late Gabriel Alves. Judi is survived by her life-partner of 19 years Doreen Adams. Judi was step-mother to and adored Doreen's three children Danielle, David, and Jamie. Judi treasured her 20 years as a tour bus driver along the east coast from Canada to Florida. Judi enjoyed playing golf and had been a dedicated mother to Daisy, Winnie, Kokyto, Buffy, and Brownie. Family and friends are welcome to a gathering at Judi and Doreen's home in Mattapoisett on Saturday December 12, 2015 from 2-4pm. Judi was a strong advocate of all people having their own end-of-life wishes honored and Death with Dignity. Judi requested donations be made in her honor to Compassion and Choices in Massachusetts.
