Josephine Niewola

Josephine Niewola, 91, formerly of Washington St., Fall River, died Wednesday, March 11, 2015. Born in Fall River and a lifelong resident, she was the daughter of the late John F. and Josephine (Rusinski) Niewola. Josephine was employed by Shelburne Shirt Co. for more than 30 years and then by St. Anne's Hospital until retirement. She was an active member of St. Stanislaus Parish. She will be lovingly remembered by her family for her faith, generosity, sense of humor and for her wonderful cooking and baking skills. She leaves siblings, Helen Little and her husband Ken, and Mary Niewola, all of Fall River and John Niewola of Connecticut and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Stasia Ouellette, Anna Desjardins and Edward Niewola. Her funeral will be held Monday, March 16, at 9:30 a.m. from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass at St. Stanislaus Church at 10:00 a.m. Burial, Notre Dame Cemetery. Visitation, Monday morning prior to the funeral from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. LARGE PARKING AREA & BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Stanislaus School Endowment Fund, PO Box 300, Fall River MA 02724.
