Joseph "Joe" Sylvia, Jr., 61, of Whipple St., Fall River, a member of the VFW Auxiliary, died Tuesday, September 16, 2008.

Survivors include children Heather LePage of Swansea and Joseph and Jonathan Sylvia, both of Fall River; siblings Alice Gould of Florida and Roland Sylvia of Westport; grandchildren Kenny, Chloe and Brooke and his companion Dolores "Dee" Arruda of Fall River.
He was the son of the late Joseph W. and Abbie (Walker) Sylvia and the brother of the late Albert Sylvia.
