Joseph S. Medeiros, Iii

Joseph S. Medeiros, III, 90, of Fall River, passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side.

He was the husband of the late Alice (Costa) Medeiros.  Born in Little Compton, Joe was the son of the late Joseph S. Medeiros, Jr. and Pauline (Rocha) Medeiros.

Joseph was an Army veteran of the Korean War.

He was employed by the City of Fall River School Dept. and worked at Talbot Middle School for over 26 years.

He loved camping, dancing, traveling to Lancaster, Pennsylvania and spending time with his grandchildren.

His favorite TV shows were westerns and animal shows.  He also liked polka music.

He leaves two sons, Joseph S. Medeiros IV (wife Lisa) and Scott A. Medeiros (wife Tammy); and was the father of the late Colleen Medeiros.

Joseph also leaves six grandchildren, Joshua Andrade, Frank Andrade, Jr. (wife Casie), Joseph S. Medeiros V (wife Katie), Michael S. Medeiros (wife Alex),  Khrystal Macedo (husband Roger) and Cameo Belliveau (husband Kyle);  11 great-grandchildren.
