Joseph V. "Roger" Levesque, Frfd, Ret.

Joseph  V. "Roger" Levesque, FRFD, Ret., 84, of Fall River, husband of the late Jeanne D. (Patenaude) Levesque, passed away Wednesday, June 17, 2020.

A Firefighter for the City of Fall River for 33 1/2 years, he was also an Army Veteran. He loved to ride motorcycles and spend time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He leaves two children, Diane J. Thibeault (husband the late Donald) of Westport and Donald R. Levesque (Marianne Marier) of Fall River; four grandchildren, Derek J. Thibeault (wife Bridget), Daniel R. Thibeault (wife Kristine), Cora Lee Levesque (Brandon Medeiros) and Courtney Levesque (Stephen Donovan); ten great-grandchildren, DJ Thibeault, Deven Gorman, Aiden Thibeault, Lacey Thibeault, Jadyn Donovan, Nora Thibeault, Kye and Kilian Donovan, Liam Medeiros and Glenn Catt, III; two siblings, Cecile Chicca of Somerset and Bernadette Albernaz of Fall River and many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Sister Laurianne Levesque, D.H.S., Alexis Levesque, Sister Jeannette Levesque D.H.S., Sister Louise Levesque S.J.A., Alfred "Freddy" Levesque, Eva Desrochers, Benoit "Benny" Levesque, Robert Levesque and Roland Levesque and the son of the late Alfred J. and Marie Louise (Jalbert) Levesque.

A funeral will be held Monday at 9:00 AM from the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River with a Funeral Mass on Monday at 10:00 AM at Holy Ghost Church, Tiverton. Burial, Notre Dame Cemetery.

A visitation will be held Sunday from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Facial coverings required.
