Joseph "Romeo" Guay

Joseph "Romeo" Guay, 79, of Stevens St., Fall River, husband of Mary Theresa (Folger) Guay, died Thursday, December 27, 2007. The son of the late Joseph and Eva (Bastille) Guay, he was a Marine Corps veteran of the Korean War, the recipient of a Purple Heart Medal with 3 gold stars and a member of the VFW. He was employed by Feldman Brothers Furniture. Besides his wife of 25 years, he leaves, 2 children, Theresa Silvia of Fall River and Richard Guay of Warren, RI; stepchildren, Maryanne Lagasse of Somerset, Frank Dupras of Boston, Cathy McMann of Florida and Susan Fisher, Marlene Feitelberg, Candace Pacheco and John, Constance and Scott Dupras, all of Fall River; grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Juliette Berube and Roland and Armand Guay. A funeral service will be held Saturday at 5:00 PM in the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River. Visitation, Saturday 4:00 to 7:00 PM. Cremation to follow. LARGE PARKING AREA & BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home. Please omit flowers.
