Joseph A. Gagne

Joseph A. Gagne, 79, of Fall River, passed away Saturday, March 30, 2024. He was the husband of Carol L. (McKinney) Gagne for 57 years.

Born in Fall River on 01/23/45, he was the son of the late Joseph N. and Rita V. (Pelletier) Gagne.

Joseph worked as a charter bus driver for 53 years; he worked for Almeida Bus, Bloom Bus, and Fisher Bus. Family was everything to Joseph. He was a kind man, had an infectious smile and would give anyone anything they needed. He was a straight up guy who loved to make people laugh. He loved to watch game shows and to take his faithful companion, Charley, to the dog park.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Kimberly Gagne, Kerrie Amaral (husband Mark), and Joseph A. Gagne; grandchildren, Kayla DelVecchio (husband Anthony), Stephen Amaral, Nicole Amaral, Tyler Gagne, and Logan Gagne; great-grandchildren, Grayson and Rae-Lynn; siblings, Rita Marie McBee and Frank P. Gagne (wife Norma); and many nieces and nephews. He also leaves a daughter-in-law, Pamela Gagne.

A visitation will be held Sunday, April 7, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 South Main St. Fall River.

His funeral will be held on Monday, April 8, at 9:00 AM from the funeral home, with a Funeral Mass in St. Joseph’s Church, North Main St., at 10:00 AM. Burial at Notre Dame Cemetery.
