Joseph P. Farias, Jr.

Joseph P. Farias, Jr., 70, of Westport, formerly of Fall River, husband of Paulette V. (Paulino) Farias, died Tuesday, June 30, 2015. A baker, he was employed by Dunkin Donuts, Pleasant St., Fall River and enjoyed fishing and going to the casinos. Besides his wife of 45 years, he leaves two sons, Joseph P. Farias, III and Michael S. Farias, both of Westport; grandchildren, Logan and Lily Rose; siblings, Elaine Cook of Portsmouth, RI, Doris Alix of Fall River, Cheryl White of Missouri, Steven Farias of Westport and Darlene Medeiros of Dartmouth; and many nieces and nephews. He was the son of the late Joseph and Lorna (Cunha) Farias and the brother of the late Lorna Joan Stanley. His funeral service will be held Thursday evening at 7:30 p.m. at the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River. Cremation to follow. Visitation, Thursday prior to the service from 4:00 to 7:30 p.m. LARGE PARKING AREA & BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home.
