Joseph Chodkowski

Joseph Chodkowski Jr., 78, of Somerset, passed away peacefully at his home, on Friday, February 25, 2011. He was the beloved husband of 57 years to Lois "Bunny" Duquette Chodkowski. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Linda (Chodkowski) Bagwell (husband Ian) of League City, TX, Cheryl Chodkowski (companion Michael McDonald) of Somerset, a son, David Chodkowski (companion Kimberly Graziano) of Lincoln, RI., aunt, Stacia Rogala, several cousins, nephews, nieces, and his two kittys, Pookie and Snickers. For many years Joe worked as an oil burner technician for Daley Oil Co. in Somerset, and was loved by many for his quick wit, his generosity, and his never ending desire to help others. Throughout his retirement he was quite content gardening, cooking, watching the birds, listening to country western music, and there never was a western movie he didn't like. He was a parishioner of St. Louis de France Parish in Swansea. He is predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Louise (Warchol) Chodkowski, , and his sister, Shirley Cordeiro.
