Joseph Marcel "Mike" Cayer, Jr.

Joseph Marcel "Mike" Cayer, Jr., 89, of Fall River, died Sunday, August 30, 2015. A Navy veteran of WW II, he was a chef at the former Warmouth's Restaurant, Boston and owned and operated the former Chef's Kitchen, Brookline. He leaves sisters, Georgette Levesque and Pauline Caron both of Somerset; a sister-in-law Doris Cayer of Swansea; many nieces and nephews including Paulette Travers of Somerset and caregivers Manny and Maria Moniz of Fall River. He was the son of the late Joseph and Emma (Bacon) Cayer and the brother of the late Maurice "Mike" Cayer, Lucille Picard-Juliano, Doris Madore, Mariette Brodeur and Armand Cayer. His funeral will be held Thursday at 9:00 a.m. from the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass at St. Patrick Church, Somerset at 10:00 a.m. Burial, Notre Dame Cemetery. Visitation, Thursday morning prior to the funeral from 7:30 to 9:00 a.m. Large parking area & barrier-free entrance at the rear of funeral home.
