Joseph F. Brouillard

Joseph F. "Joey" Brouillard, Jr., 61, of Westport, MA, died Saturday, November 17, 2012 at Charlton Memorial Hospital. He loved nature and exploring the beach for treasure. He enjoyed gathering snails, snakes fireflies and a variety of other insects into jars for his grandchildren to enjoy and learn from. He looked forward to watching his nieces and nephews at games and having fun. He loved his garden and showing the kids where their Halloween pumpkins came from. He was a free spirit that could always find humor in even the most awkward situations. He will live on in our hearts forever. Born in Fall River, he was the son of the late Joseph F. and Doris (Dumont) Brouillard. Besides his wife Gail Brouillard, survivors include two children, Sky Beauregard (wife Amy) of Seekonk and Harmony Owden (husband Christopher) of Pawtucket; grandchildren, Maverick and Hannah Beauregard of Seekonk and Alex Mowry of Pawtucket, siblings, Dana Brouillard of Fall River and Carol Saucier (husband Allen) of Fall River, nieces and nephews, dear friends, Muriel and Leo Hamel of Fall River. Following cremation, a funeral mass will be held Wednesday, December 5, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. in St. Joseph Church, No. Main St. Fall River.
